Happy Birthday Little D!!
Little D is One!!
We had a fun day celebrating D's first year of life. It was fun to decorate and make the day special, even though D didn't have a clue what was going on :)

A big thank you to Aunt Amber for making the trip for D's special day!!
We were lucky to have Aunt Anne and Leah here as well. They stayed with us while Anne's hubby was in Africa, and the birthday fell on the last day of their stay with us.
Dorey liked her present from Mommy and Daddy :) She used it for two days, and then got brave and started walking by herself!!
Time to blow out the candles! I got adventurous and made the cake, and was quite pleased with my first attempt at a fancy cake!
D loved her cake :)
And perhaps ate a little too much...
It was a ducky kind of day :) I like birthdays. You should post some birthday pictures too!!

everytime I see that "too much cake" picture it makes me laugh :) Oh little D...
Looks like so much fun! I can't believe she's one, wow! And she's walking already! That's awesome!
So cute! Love the hat...just precious. You did a great job on the cake. She looks cute in the pink dress.
